When collecting your cake, you will need to transport it in the flattest place possible, I recommend the footwell of your car or boot space. It is recommended that you ensure the area is clean before you arrive to collect and also not too hot.
Please be aware that placing your cake on a seat, lap or uneven surface even for a small journey may affect the stability and internal structure of your cake, which could result in irreparable damage.
On warm or hot days it is recommended to travel with the air conditioning on, or windows open, to keep the environment relatively cool.
It is recommended that you take your cake straight to your venue where possible. If you take the cake home before taking to the venue, please ensure it is kept in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, and stores in the packaging provided. Further transport to the venue should be made using the guidelines above.
Setting up your cake
When setting up your cake at your venue, avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near a heat source, e.g a radiator that is on. Please consume within the time suggested on your advice note provided on collection.
